Sedan Steve steps down

Shanghai surprise: OIA chairman Steve Handley gets a lift

After two years, Overseas Inspectors' Association chairman Steve Handley will step down from the post in May.

The Criminal Intelligence Bureau Chief Inspector retires as chairman, just as his tenure hit one of its biggest highs recently, getting a lift aboard a sedan chair while heading an Association trip to Shanghai.

Meanwhile, the OIA Annual General Meeting is set for May 19 from 6.30 pm, held once again in the Police Officers' Club after the success of last year.

This is a voting year to elect a new committee and attendance by all eligible members is encouraged. The committee said in line with the trend in Government policy, OIA Financial Secretary Steve Berry has maintained the subscription fee at $200.

For membership details contact Martin Cadman, Assistant Divisional Commander (Operations) of Tsing Yi. Alternatively, officers can pay at the AGM.
