Open U offers police management courses

The School of Arts and Social Sciences of the Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK) has started a series of diploma and degree programmes in Police and Security Management.
Programme Leader Dr Garland Liu and Associate Professor Dr Cheuk Wai-hing conducted an information seminar on the courses at the Police Training School for about 200 officers on March 10. They were greeted by PTS Commandant Wong Pak-nin.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Eddie Hui Ki-on and Assistant Commissioner (Training) Yip Kwok-keung toured OUHK's campus on March 16, taking in the multimedia and language laboratories, and the library. They were accompanied by the University's President, Professor Tam Sheung-wai.
