Wallet dropped, assistance prompt

(This letter was sent to the Chief Superintendent of Traffic Headquarters.)

On March 28 I discovered my wallet had fallen out of my pocket while riding my motorcycle towards Yuen Long along the New Territories Circular Road.

I immediately went back and saw my wallet, which contained many important items, lying in the middle of the fast lane near Pak Shek Au. I stopped to go pick it up but was unable to due to heavy traffic and the high speed of passing vehicles.

Fortunately, a Traffic officer arrived and stopped the traffic to pick up my wallet for me. I am writing to thank him for his assistance and I hope he will continue to serve the community with such enthusiasm.

(Note: The officer was Station Sergeant Chan Man-keung of the Tai Po and Border Patrol Sub-unit, New Territories North.)
