Western praise for top anti-crime job
 DC Western Barry Griffin and staff receive the accolades |
Western District officers were recently applauded by locals for keeping crime rates low in the area.
At a ceremony on April 18, Central and Western District Fight Crime Committee Chairman Chan Hay presented silver plates to Western District Commander Barry Griffin and staff for their efforts in maintaining good law and order.
Officers of Aberdeen Division's Investigation Team Three and Task Force, and Western Division's Task Force, were also commended by Southern District Councillors Chu Chun-yin and Lam Yuk-chun and crime victims for their prompt work detecting several recent burglary and theft cases.
