Eagles' flying trip

The Macau and Sham Shui Po police youth groups gather for a photo

A delegation from Macau's Youth Flying Eagle group called on the Sham Shui Po District Junior Police Call on April 29.

Led by team leader Kent Yuen, the Assistant Director of the Macau Judiciary Police and the President of the Macau Police Association, the delegation also included Macau Public Security and Judiciary Police members.

They toured Cheung Sha Wan Police Station, the JPC Club House and attended an anti-drugs camp in Sai Kung, followed by a basketball friendly between the two youth groups, won by the JPC.

Set up in February, the Macau Youth Flying Eagle has about 150 members aged 14 to 17. The youngsters completed an eight-day training course with physical drills, siminars on triads, drugs and community service.

The group offers the youths activities and training classes on a wide variety of interests and community services to make them caring and responsible members of society and help them stay away from crime and bad influences.
