NTS seminars on driving safety

About 400 professional drivers upped their skills in two seminars organised by Traffic New Territories South Road Safety Section on May 30 and June 9.
Held at the Kwai Fong Community Hall, the seminars covered speeding, driving attitudes, seat belts, drink driving, upcoming legislation banning mobile phone use while driving and increased speeding penalties.
The seminars enhanced communication between the drivers and Police, and urged the protection of passenger safety.
Guests included the Traffic and Transport Committee chairmen of the Sha Tin, Kwai Tsing and Tsuen Wan District Councils Yeung Cheung-li, Leung Wing-kuen and Lam Chiu-lun respectively, along with the Road Safety Patrol's Regional Commander for New Territories South Luk Choi-lung.
