Soliciting CCB
(This letter was sent to CP Eddie Hui regarding the embezzlement of a law firm)
In a case concluded in early June, the final judgement of the High Court committed two guilty persons to the custodial terms they deserved.
We take this opportunity to express our gratitude to Police for the ingenious service of the investigation team of the Commercial Crime Bureau, headed by Detective Senior Inspector Berlin Ho Pak-ling, and supported by Sergeant Martin Chan Mau-tin, Police Constable Ng Peng-kuai and others.
Our thanks go to DSIP Ho and the team who displayed great tact and understanding in examining the huge bundles of documents to pick out evidence. Faced with the tremendous task, they were always polite and patient, and gave invaluable guidance and advice to our staff.
Whilst we are deeply impressed by the efficiency of the Force, we feel even more indebted to the ingenious service of DSIP Ho and his team, each deserving our sincere praise.
