Thirteen good citizens were commended by Yau Tsim District on July 13 for their efforts in assisting police.
They showed bravery and resourcefulness in helping arrest suspects wanted for various robbery, theft, burglary, criminal damage and indecent assault cases in the District.
Acting Yau Tsim District Commander Fong Kai-cheung and Yau Tsim Mong District Fight Crime Committee (DFCC) members presented the certificates and cash awards at the ceremony in Tsim Sha Tsui Police Station.
Mr Fong and YT Assistant District Commander (Crime) Tse Keung led their staff to receive a pennant and a silver plate presented by a company, thanking officers of the District's Anti-triad Squad Team Three for detecting a criminal damage case in February.
They arrested four culprits who were later jailed.
