 Court order: Police basketball instructors get the summer sessions going |
Some 40 kids have joined summer basketball classes run by Force instructors to improve their skill and technique while enhancing self discipline and camaraderie.
The Second Police Children's Basketball Course started training July 18 at the Police Sports and Recreation Club. The youths will complete eight training sessions and will then be split into four teams to compete for the Chairman's Trophy annual tournament slated for August 15 with the finals on August 17.
The Chairman's Cup and trophies will be presented to the champion team, best assist player, best rebound player and the most valued player, so get down to the PSRC this summer and cheer these kids on!
