Narcotics Bureau recently beat out 11 other sides to take the first ever Police Headquarters Three-a-Side Basketball Tournament.
August 18 saw a thrilling final against the Commercial Crime Bureau B side on the Arsenal House rooftop, the NB A team scraping home by a mere point to win 14-13. Valiant performances saw second and third runner-up places going to the Criminal Intelligence Bureau B and Security Wing B teams.
The series, which started in June, also saw three-point sharp shooter competitions during the half-time intervals, and NB came to the fore again with its Police Constable Chan Shou-shan making eight shots to take out the final on the same day.
Chief Superintendent Personnel Services Martin Samson presented the trophies after the match.
