After the sell-out Elvis and Boxing Dinners, we here at the Police Officers' Club have three more evenings of fine food and family fun for you.

Make a date now for our Mid-autumn Festival Dinner on September 12. There will be menus from $1,480 or $1,688 (six to eight persons) and $2,180 or $2,688 (for 12), a singer to keep you entertained while you eat, and then the chance to sit and watch the moon from the roof with a glass of champagne and a mooncake! Secondly, booking forms are now available for the National Day Fireworks Dinner on October 1. There will be 25 tables of 12 available in the TSK Hall at $2,999 each, and 120 places for the Western Buffet Dinner at $238 per adult, and $128 for kids aged 4-12. Space is limited and the event is always popular, so grab a form from Reception or download it from our Bulletin Board on POINT.

Meanwhile, Saturday October 7 is German Night at the Club, with a real German "Oompah" Band, and choice German food and drink. Details next issue.

As the Club gets busier over the summer, parking gets more difficult so why not take advantage of our great new Taxi Fee Rebate Scheme for Members. Take a taxi to the Club, get a receipt, and then register it within three hours at Reception/Wine Shop. You can now use the receipt for a $30 discount at any catering outlet (TSK Hall, Beat Cafe, Verandah and Poolside Bars).

* Every Sunday listen to the fabulous Arts of Guzheng Academy playing traditional Chinese orchestral music in the TSK Hall from 7 to 9 pm.

* Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday enjoy the talents of acclaimed singer/songwriter Jim Lau in the TSK Hall from 7.30 to 9.30 pm - the man behind songs by Alan Tam, Faye Wong, Eason Chan and Jacky Cheung.

Beat Cafe

* Every Saturday enjoy the Genuine PTU Curry Lunch Buffet from 12.30 - 2.30 pm. For $58 eat as much curry as you can, and get a free small draught beer or soft drink. The curry is made to genuine PTU specifications - hot and hard!

Verandah Bar

* Monday to Thursday is Ladies' Night from 5.30 - 8.30 pm, with unlimited free sparkling wine or fruit punch for all ladies, plus free dimsum snacks.
