I have been working as a night shift taxi driver for 14 years and have been robbed twice. I am delighted to see that brutal robbers who attacked a taxi driver on the Peak on July 24 were arrested.
As a citizen, I am proud of our well-trained, professional and smart police who protect our lives, including night shift taxi drivers. I express my regards to the officers involved in the case and I would like to wish you all the best in the future.

(EditorŐs note: In the wee hours of July 24, three men and a woman took a taxi from North Point to the Peak. They attacked the driver, grabbed his cash box and pushed him out before driving away. The driver made a report to the police and Emergency Unit Hong Kong Island Platoon Three officers intercepted the taxi in Magazine Gap Road and arrested the four.)
