'Professional' officers foil burglars

(The CP also received this letter)

On July 14 and 17 our house was burgled. Cheung Sha Wan Station officers answered our calls promptly, though the intruders were not found in both instances. On subsequent nights, CSW Patrol Sub-unit Three, headed by Station Sergeant Leung Yat-fong, were very attentive in patrolling the area. My family and I felt the officers were doing their best to arrest the suspects, and that they truly believed in ensuring a safe environment for residents. We hereby express our full gratitude and credit them for the swift conclusion of the case.

On July 21, we were told by Sham Shui Po Station officers that our suspected burglars had been arrested and members of Kowloon West Emergency Unit Platoon One were responsible for the prompt arrests. The officers involved in the investigations in our house were exceptionally professional and detail-oriented, helping lead the case to a speedy conclusion.

We hereby express our full gratitude and appreciation for all the officers' hard work which kept our losses to a minimum. We feel lucky to have such responsible law enforcement in the community, and let the record reflect the true professionalism of the above-mentioned officers and all related personnel.
