HKI-spy: Central District's homepage is one of the new HKI sites going online |
A wealth of information on Hong Kong Island formations is set for access as their own individual websites go online October 1.
The HKI Regional Crime Headquarters site launched in March was the pioneer for the new homepages.
HKI Crime Senior Superintendent Wong Fook-chuen then headed a Work Improvement Team in April to create the vibrant and informative new sites, one for each HKI formation.
The Team included HKI Traffic, HKI Regional Headquarters Administration Wing, HKI Emergency Unit, Western, Central, Wan Chai and Eastern Districts, and Information Technology Branch.
The Team enabled formation officers to better comprehend the information disseminated from their parent formations and others, with a view to boost inter-communication, transparency and co-ordination.
The sites include information on the internal structures of each formation, operational matters, administrative policies, manpower situations, welfare and the latest crime trends.
All officers are welcome to browse these websites.
