PTS study for EPD officers

Thirteen Environmental Protection Department officers graduated from a law enforcement training course run at the Police Training School, on September 29.
The two-week course gave officers instruction in issuing summonses, entry and search of premises, questioning of suspects, handling of exhibits, techniques of statement taking, presenting evidence in court and intelligence gathering.
Exercises on communication and leadership skills, team building and stress management were also conducted.
At the graduation ceremony in the PTS Officers' Mess, EPD Assistant Director Michael Chiu presented a souvenir to Commandant Wong Pak-nin. A course critique was conducted afterwards and all trainees found the instruction very useful and practical.
