A remembrance ceremony for officers who gave their lives in the line of duty was held at Police Headquarters on October 7.
Commissioner Eddie Hui Ki-on led officers to pay tribute to those officers who made the ultimate sacrifice while upholding the law and protecting the people. He then delivered a speech of remembrance, observed a two-minute silence and laid a wreath on behalf of the Force outside Caine House North Wing.
Wreaths were also laid by Auxiliary Police Commandant Peter Chau Cham-chiu and representatives of other Police formations and associations.
