ACP OPS Cheung Chi-shum receives the cheque from C PTU Ng Man-kim

Some 500 Police Tactical Unit staff and Company officers raised almost $50,000 for the Police Children's Education Trusts on its charity sports day, September 22.

PTU staff took on officers from the Alpha, Bravo and Zulu Companies in the five events. They included a round-camp run, three games and an exciting Saxon-pulling competition officiated by Assistant Commissioner of Police (Operations) Cheung Chi-shum.

The staff came up trumps at the end of the day of fierce competition, with the charity fund being the ultimate winner amassing a total of $48,888. Mr Cheung received the cheque from PTU Commandant Ng Man-kim, on behalf of the Personnel Services Branch.
