Judge metes election verdict

The 2000 Legislative Council elections and Election Committee Subsector elections of the HKSAR were successfully held September 10 and July 9. In preparation for these elections, the Police Force provided invaluable assistance in various aspects, such as providing officers at all polling and counting stations, processing closed road permits and other logistic arrangements.
I deeply appreciate the dedication and hard work your staff put in during the very hectic election period.
Please convey my heartfelt gratitude to your colleagues in the Support and Criminal Records Bureaux.
Special thanks go to Ivan Lee and P.M. Cheung whose services were most efficient and professional.
