A brand-new, world-class venue is set to provide some awesome action at the upcoming annual Force Swimming Gala, slated for November 17.
The event takes place in the new Shing Mun Valley Swimming Pool Complex, a modern, indoor, heated, and Olympic-sized facility.
The previous action-packed Gala saw eight Force records (four individual and four relays) broken. And with a professional new venue, more records are sure to shatter.
This year's programme starts at 9 am, running to 5.30 pm. Swimmers from other disciplinary forces will join the fun in some invitation friendly events, and Commissioner Eddie Hui Ki-on will present the trophies at the end of the day.
Potential medal-winners will be sought to represent the Force in the 2001 World Police and Fire Games in the United States next June, so get stuck into that training.
