 Home sprint: Neck-to-neck at the finish |
Some 87 officers and families participated in the Police Adventure Club Triathlon at the Federation of Youth Groups' Outdoor Sports Centre in Tai Mei Tuk, October 21.
They competed in a host of categories including men's open, men's senior open, women's open, junior open and invitation events.
Although it was a windy day bringing very tough conditions, competitors' strong will and courage saw them finish the event, covering a 500-metre swim, an eight-kilometre canoe and a 12-kilometre run.
Major Force winners were Airport District's Cheung Wai-fung who won the men's open crown, while the Police Training School's Cheung Yuen-kwong took out the men's senior title.
