The 24th Police Adventure Club Mountain Marathon is set for December 16 and 17.
Each team, made up of two competitors, is required to finish a 50-kilometre trial on a designated hill within two days. The fastest team will be crowned the winner. Penalty points may be awarded to those who do not meet the checkpoint time, fail to report to checkers or fail to bring along certain equipment, such as a whistle.
The four categories are: Open (under 40 years of age); Senior (over 40); Ladies (no age limit); and, Exercise (over 16 years of age, or newcomers to the competition).
