In memory of Paul . . .
Senior Superintendent Paul Deal |
Scores of officers and Senior Management attended the funeral of Paul Deal on November 4 at St John's Cathedral in Central.
They paid tribute to the late Service Quality Wing Senior Superintendent who sadly lost his courageous battle against pancreatic cancer on October 26, at Queen Mary Hospital, aged 54.
The mourners included Acting Commissioner of Police Tsang Yam-pui, and Senior Assistant Commissioners Dick Lee Ming-kwai, Douglas Lau Yuk-kuen and Robin Leung Fung-shun. Numerous retired senior officers also attended, including Keith Braithwaite who read the eulogy, along with Christopher Glover and Richard Tudor who also delivered readings.
Paul joined the Force as an Inspector in 1967.
He is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
