Angling up a fishy feast!

Celebrating the ones that didn't get away!

The rods were out on September 30 when Lantau District officers caught more than 20 kilograms of fish in an angling competition on Shek Pik Pier.

Some 38 officers grabbed their tackle boxes to compete in groups to reel in the most fish within the six-hour time limit, and claim one of the three top prizes on offer.

Lantau Angling Club chairman Chief Inspector Wu Shu-wing was the event's official judge while Lantau District Commander Yan Fook-mou presented the prizes.

The top award went to Lantau North Divison's Patrol Sub-unit Three who hooked a whopping nine kilos of fish. The event was part of the District's Healthy Lifestyles campaign, seeing all competitors and officials enjoying a fun and relaxing day by the water.
