Lion City force hails HK hospitality

On behalf of the Singapore Police Force, I would like to thank the Hong Kong Police for hosting our recent visit to HK. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule on November 22, and it was indeed a great honour for my delegation to have lunch with you.

The trip was certainly very fruitful for us. We gained a good appreciation of your media management policy and capabilities, as well as your experience in the planning and implementation of info-communication technology systems.

The visit certainly demonstrated the warm ties between our Forces. Your officers went out of their way to make our visit most fruitful and memorable. In this regard, I would like to place on record our heartfelt appreciation to officers from your Police Public Relations Branch, in particular (then) Chief Superintendent Stephen Fung Kin-man, Chief Inspector Patrick Tang Hon-wing and Inspector Ringo Ng Shu-hung for taking excellent care of my delegation during the visit.

I look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
