CP Tsang gets a tour of a display at TV City

Commissioner Tsang Yam-pui joined Secretary for Security Regina Ip and Director of Home Affairs Shelley Lee, to kick-off the 2001 Fight Crime Special at TVB's studio at Clear Water Bay on March 3, with help from Fight Crime Ambassador and pop star Aaron Kwok. The show featured games promoting drug, deception and computer crime awareness, and the show was broadcast on TVB Jade on March 4.

  • Tai Po District Commander To Ho-kee presented a cheque for $52,000 to the Community Chest at TP Station on February 20. The money was raised by the District's officers who participated in the New Territories Walk for Charity on February 11.

  • Kwun Tong Division officers received silver plates and brocade flags on February 9, for their dedication and professionalism in maintaining Lam Tin's low crime rate.

    District Commander David O'Brien and other senior officers received the accolades from Lam Tin Area Committee Chairman Chan Chun-kwan and other members, in the KT Police Officers' Mess.

  • A troop of security guards were commended by the Kowloon West Regional Crime Prevention Office March 5, for their bravery and enthusiasm in helping police.

    The 39 watchmen made immediate reports to Police and helped them subdue suspects in a number of crimes last year. They were presented trophies at the Good Security Guard Award Presentation Ceremony, jointly organised by Police and the Association of Property Management Companies. Officiating guests included Regional Commander M. Stradmoor.
