 Magnificent mountaineers: Mountain Marathon participants in celebration |
Force competitors took out two top categories in the Raleigh International Mountain Marathon in the Sai Kung countryside on March 3 and 4.
Representing the Police Adventure Club, Detective Senior Police Constable Lok Wai-keung and Station Sergeant Yip Kam-man won the Veteran Category, with other police teams also winning the first and second runners-up places in the Open Category, and first runner-up in Exploration.
About 600 participants took to the 45-kilometre course in Pak Tam Chung Country Park, in a host of categories. The competition combined orienteering and mountaineering with marathon running.
