Be a sport and take part in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics, slated for May 6 in Tsim Sha Tsui!
The route is just 2.2 kilometres, starting from the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza, and the Force has done very well previously with some 200 Police runners raising almost $550,000 last year.
Here's your chance to repeat, and even improve upon, this success to raise funds for Hong Kong's courageous and talented disabled athletes and help them win gold in the 2003 Special Olympics.
Director of Management Services Gordon Fung Siu-yuen will represent the Force at the opening ceremony with Assistant Commissioner (Information Systems) Peter Halliday leading the contingent of runners. Secretary for Security Regina Ip will be Guest of Honour.
Entries, sponsorship forms and monies must be returned to the Personnel Services Branch by the April 20 deadline.
