Ag DC KT Eddie Lam receives a cheque on behalf of Police Children's Education Trust

Kwun Tong District officers were presented calligraphy, plaques and a $20,000 cheque on July 17 from a security services company and a property developer in Tseung Kwan O.

The ceremony, held at Kwun Tong Officers' Mess, saw Acting KT District Commander Eddie Lam Wah-chiu accept the souvenirs on behalf of the District and the cheque on behalf of the Police Children's Education Trust.

The presentation was to compliment the District for its help in fighting triads trying to infiltrate new developments demanding protection money, or posing as decoration companies to take work from legitimate contractors and to rip off tenants.
