SSP T HKI Noel Howcroft presents a prize

Traffic Hong Kong Island held its Road Safety Campaign 2000/2001 Prize Presentation cum Appointment of Road Safety Ambassador ceremony on July 5.

HKI Deputy Regional Commander Bonnie Smith and HK Road Safety Patrol Commissioner Ng Keing-wai officiated at the ceremony at the Police Civilian Staff Club in Central, which saw entertainer Ellesmere Choy Tsz-kin appointed Road Safety Ambassador.

Students and schools performing outstandingly in road safety activities during the past year received awards.

This year's road safety campaign will include a bus parade, a family fun day and a number of competitions.
