Women officers gather to exchange views

TST Police Station visit

The first Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Women Police Officers Seminar was held at the Police Officers' Club on July 30, marking the inaugural participation by female police officers from Macau.

Previously, Guangdong and HK women police officers exchanged experiences and views regarding the development of police work, further enhancing mutual understanding on three such occasions between 1997 and 1999. With the introduction of officers from Macau, this year's seminar, attended by nearly 40 representatives from the three regions, was even more fruitful.

The Guangdong, Macau and HK delegations were led by Deputy Director of Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department Luo Juan, Advisor to the Macau Secretary for Security Office Cheong Han, and Kowloon West Regional Commander M Stradmoor respectively.

Accompanied by Ms Stradmoor, the guests also toured the revamped Tsim Sha Tsui Police Station.
