Border District organised a series of activities between May and July to publicise anti-drug and fight-crime messages to students.
Included in the activities was the Anti-drug Creative Competition held in May and June followed by the Third Border District Fight Crime Junior Police Call Honorary Presidents Football Cup on July 12.
Response to the activities was most encouraging with more than 100 entries received for the creative competition and nine schools participating in the soccer event.
The 10th Fight Crime Table Tennis and Basketball Competition was held on July 11, co-organised by Border District, Sha Tau Kok Division and Sha Tau Kok Government Secondary School.
Border officers battled teachers and students in the funfilled events. While the school won the basketball, it met its match in the table tennis which saw officers dominate, winning four of the five singles and doubles events.
