A team of 11 representatives of the Hong Kong Police Shooting Club recently joined 33 teams from various Mainland provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and Macau at the National Public Security Shooting Competition held from July 9-15 in Dalian, which included PPC600 and UIT at a distance of 50 metres.

Although not victorious in the competition, shooting team members SIP Cheng Fuk-man and SGT Kwong Chi-keung, with their keen police instinct, experienced a victory on the return journey home, helping to arrest a suspected thief after they spotted him cutting a bag with a knife and taking out money while on a bus.
