Leaders of the future

Fifty young people recently attended a Physical Recreation and Leadership Training Camp in Sai Kung organised by Kowloon West Regional Headquarters from July 30 to August 2 as part of the Hong Kong Award for Young People Scheme.

Participants' physical prowess, endurance levels and intelligence were put to the test during the 4-day 3-night programme which included canoeing, rock-climbing and trekking, all aimed at further promoting organisational abilties and team leadership.

KW Senior Superintendent Administration C. F. Thornborrow, accompanied by senior KW Region officers, attended a presentation ceremony where particpants received awards for excellence in various events.
