No age barrier in fight crime drive

Tsuen Wan District held the 11th Tsuen Wan JPC Honorary Presidents' Cup Fight Crime and Anti-drug Ball Games Competition between June 30 and July 28. More than 20 primary and secondary schools vied for prizes in badminton, table tennis, football and basketball competitions. A prize presentation ceremony for the ball games was held on July 28 at the Tsuen Wan West Indoor Recreation Centre. The day also witnessed the appointment of more than 380 district representatives, students, adults and the elderly as "Help People to Help Themselves" Fight Crime Ambassadors to help disseminate fight crime messages throughout the district. Speaking at the ceremony, District Commander Au Ka-hing urged the young people to participate in healthy sports activities and to keep away from drugs. He also urged the fight crime ambassadors to alert their friends and relatives against various categories of crime including fraud and cybercrime.
