Police taekwondo champs in action

The Police Taekwondo Club competition was held on August 26 at the Police Sports and Recreation Club. A total of 120 competitors from six district centers participated in the event despite the hot weather and physical pain involved. Overall winning centre at the competition was Headquarters.

Dr Kim Ki Dong, 9th Dan International Black Belt champion, in Hong Kong for the event, presented certificates of advancement to 50 club participants. He also presented a 7th Dan black belt to the club's chief technique consultant Yu Kwok Sam and a 4th Dan black belt to the Honourable Vice President of the club Chang Chu Sing.
