Auxiliary Police Commandant C.S. Kwok officiated at a tree planting ceremony near the Auxiliary Police Headquarters compound on September 18. The species selected was a Pterocarpus Indicus Burmese Rosewood, noted for its upright trunk and hard texture is a symbol of elegance in Chinese culture. This landmark planting was also symbolic of the goals and ambitions of the Auxiliary Police Force, commonly referred to as 'the four D's - Dignity, Decency, Dedication and Diligence. It is hoped that this tree will help inspire confidence and enthusiasm. The ceremony was attended by senior Auxiliary Police Force and Auxiliary Support Wing officers. |
