Initially, the Force Library will accept textbooks and research materials relating to courses funded or reimbursed by Government. While these materials may be of no use to officers who have completed courses, they will have immense value for others attending the same courses.

Members who have completed Government sponsored courses and wished to donate course materials please note the following:

(a) Materials should be in good condition;

(b) Potential donors should complete a donation form providing contact details and description of the donated materials. Donation forms can be downloaded from the web site at:http://iws.hpf.gov.hk:8088/ or be obtained from the Force Library;

(c) Donated materials may be sent by normal despatch to the Force Library located at Room 701, Tai Sang Commercial Building.

(d) Donated materials will not be returned. Due to storage constraints, and for the benefit of potential users, the Force Library may transfer surplus items to the Resource Centres or other units which may have a demand for them;

(e) As a standing arrangement, an acknowledgement letter will be sent to the donor and a chop "Donated to Force Library/Resource Centre by (name of officer)" will be placed inside the front cover.
