Four-a-side football champs
Following numerous hard-fought matches played between the 18 teams from Police Headquarters since June 1, the Commercial Crime Bureau finally emerged as the champions of the Police Headquarters four-a-side football competition, defeating Security Wing one goal to zero on the rooftop of Arsenal House on September 13. The long awaited final encounter, originally scheduled for September 5, had been postponed because of heavy rain.
Identification Bureau also defeated the Information Technology Branch by one goal to zero, securing third place.
Acting Assistant Commissioner Personnel Martin Samson presented prizes to winning teams following the matches.
