Western officers praised

In a gesture of appreciation to officers of Western District, a number of private and community organisations in Central, Western and Southern Districts presented souvenirs to the officers commending them on their hard work at Western Police Station on October 10.

Western Police District officers, including those from the Western District Anti-Triad Squad, Western Division, Aberdeen Division and Stanley Police Station detected a number of cases relating to blackmail, burglary, possession of offensive weapons and possession of forged documents over the past few months.

Officiating guests included Western District Commander Barry Griffin, Southern District Council Chairman Joseph Chan, Central and Western District Fight Crime Committee Chairman Chan Hay, Wong Chuk Hang and Stanley Area Committee Chairman Mar Yuet-har and Ap Lei Chau Kaifong Welfare Association President Ho Chun-tung.
