Rodney John Starling passed away suddenly on September 26 in the United Kingdom.

Joining the Force in 1974 as a Recruit Inspector, he retired in 1997 as a Superintendent.

Mr Starling is survived by his wife Carolyn and children Rachel and Chris.

James Conley Prisk passed away peacefully on October 13 in the United Kingdom.

Serving in the Hong Kong Customs & Excise Service for 33 years, he retired in 1989 as Deputy Commissioner. He was also a longstanding member of the Royal Hong Kong Police Association.
