Police efforts at EAES praised |

Following the success of the East Asia Economic Summit 2001 (EAES), held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 29 to 31 and organised by the World Economic Forum with host partner Invest Hong Kong, a letter praising the efforts and support of Force officers was received by Commissioner Tsang Yam-pui from Mr John Wan on behalf of Director-General of Investment Mike Rowse.
The letter thanked the Force for the contribution officers had made towards the smooth implementation of security and law and order aspects surrounding the Summit, especially in relation to the reception of Philippine President Arroyo and other government officials from around the world.
Particular mention was made of the efforts of Senior Superintendents Peter Hunt and Bill Suen and Superintendents Wise Choy, Ronald Ip, Albert Chan and Ben Ting.
