The programmes included an exhibition, a road safety video show and game stalls. The exhibits featured traffic laws and the causes and figures of traffic accidents. The video show introduced the traffic blackspots in the district and road safety guidelines for scooter players, cyclists and pedestrians. Children can also learn more about road safety by playing games.

Some 2,000 people participated in the event which had won the support of various organisations including China Light & Power Company, the Motoring School of Yuen Long District and community organisations.

Officiating guests included Yuen Long District Council's Traffic & Transport Committee Vice-Chairman Sung Wai-ching, Chief Inspector of Traffic New Territories North Cheng Chun-kit, Yuen Long District Commander of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol New Territories North Region Law Sum-yuen, NTN Regional Road Safety Committee Honorary President Fong Man-li and President of the Rotary Club of New Territories Hui Shui-hing.
