Commissioner visits injured officer

Commissioner Tsang Yam-pui, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Operations Lau Yuk-kuen, earlier paid a visit to Senior Police Constable Tam Chi-man who was being treated for severe burns at the Prince of Wales Hospital.

The officer and two other colleagues received burn injuries after a Police launch generator exploded off Sai Kung pier on February 5.

The other two officers, Senior Police Constable Lo Kwok-leung and Police Constable Lam Sai-kai, whose injuries were less severe, were discharged from hospital on February 7, while Mr Tam was discharged on February 19.
