The annual event is designed to test the competence of dogs and their handlers in novice, open and advanced categories.

A spokesman for the unit said the competition was also aimed at enhancing the professional standard and team spirit of handlers and their dogs and improving their proficiency in carrying out their task.

Members of the PSRC are welcome to attend the event which starts at 9.30 am.
