Tuen Mun Police District and the District's Fight Crime Committee have jointly organised a crime prevention publicity campaign aimed at reminding residents to take measures to prevent crime in the run up to the Chinese New Year.

During the event, which is part of the winter precaution campaign, Police officers and DFCC members travelled on an open-roof, double-decker bus around Tuen Mun area distributing leaflets, laisee packets and scrolls carrying fight crime messages to shopkeepers, residents and villagers, and encouraging them to report fireworks related crime to the Police.

Officiating guests included Tuen Mun District Commander Au Hok-lam, DFCC Chairman Lau Ip-keung and Acting District Officer Judy Chung.
