Hong Kong Police lawn bowls team clinch title
The Hong Kong Police Lawn Bowls Club A Team has clinched the 2001/2002 HKLBA Premier League Title by narrowly beating Kowloon Bowling Green Club for the top slot.
The team has very experienced players and includes five who took part in the HK (International) Classics in
October last year. This is the third time in recent years that Police have taken the trophy. The last two occasions were in 1997 and 1999.
Lawn Bowls is gaining recognition worldwide and is now being considered for inclusion in the Olympics. Anyone who is interested in playing should contact the Club Convener K.K.Yeung on 9075-7952.
Training and practice sessions are held every Wednesday night at POC and every Thursday night at PSRC. Club bowls are available for beginners.
