Donation to charity home

Marine Regional Commander Cheung Chi-shum has presented a cheque for $27,000 to the Home of Loving Faithfulness, a charity organisation that looks after severely mentally handicapped children.

The house father of the home Peter Spiers received the cheque during a ceremony held at the Marine Headquarters officers' mess.

The money was raised by Marine Police officers during the Marine Headquarters Christmas lunch held last year. This followed a donation of $20,000 the previous year by Marine Headquarters to the same charity home.
