Fight crime run
The Western and Southern District Fight Crime Run 2002, co-organised by Western Police District and Southern Sports and Recreation Advancement Association, was held last month at the Aberdeen Promenade.
The event, aimed at disseminating fight crime messages as well as promoting healthy lifestyle, attracted about 800 runners competing for 85 trophies in nine categories.
Participants included representatives from Southern District Office, Fire Services Department, Correctional Services Department, ICAC, Southern District Council, Southern District Fight Crime Committee, South District Area Committee and Western District Junior Police Call Activities Committee.
