Don't forget, we're also organising our own fantastic football fun! On Saturdays (June 1, 8 and 15) we will have a Kids' Penalty Shooting Competition from 2-4 pm at the rooftop tennis court - free to enter and no need to register. The best Shooters will qualify for the Grand Final on Sunday (June 23), where medals and prizes will be up for grabs.

We will also have a World Cup Indoor 5-a-side Team Competition on June 23 for kids aged 9-12 - for this you need to register in advance at Reception, and there will be a training session on Saturday (June 15) from 4-6 pm to meet your team mates and learn some skills (each member can bring one guest for this event). There will also be a great new Playstation Soccer Game for the kids (and adults!) to enjoy during the World Cup period.

The first Summer Swimming Classes will start on June 14, running every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Courses are divided into Parents/Guardians and Toddlers (2.30-3 pm), Course A for 4 years up (3-4 pm), Course B for 5 years up who can swim 15m (4-5 pm), Course C for 6 years up who can swim 25m (5-6 pm) and Adults (6-7 pm). Guardian Passes will be available again this year, to allow the children of Members who are under the age of 10 to use the swimming pool accompanied by a nominated guardian. Each Principal Member's family may apply for one Pass only for swimming sessions before 4.30 pm on weekdays from Monday to Friday, and the pass is valid from June 1 to August 31, 2002.

There are still some places available for the Children's Ballet Class for those aged between 7 and 12 . The classes will be held every Wednesday evening from 6-7 pm. Application forms at reception now. Also, if you have a child aged 18 months to 3 years, why not try the Club Playgroup? Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10-12 noon, lots of arts, crafts, games, stories, and FUN! Application forms are at Reception, or call Beryl Chung on 9301-3019 for more information.
