Mr Henry Heath's Funeral |

Superintendent Bernie So, who is seconded to Bramshill Police College as a member of the directing staff, attended the funeral of ex-Commissioner Mr Henry Heath in Brighton last week on behalf of the Force. The funeral was also attended by several former senior officers of the Force, including ex-Commissioner Mr Ted Eates, Mr Peter Moore, Mr Dennis Collins and Mr Richard Smallshaw. On behalf of the Force, Mr So conveyed condolences to Mrs Heath and her sons, Rodney and Peter. They were very grateful for the presence of a Force Representative and asked that the Commissioner be thanked for the kindness. Their gratitude was matched by that of Mr and Mrs Smallshaw, who specifically asked that their personal thanks be conveyed to the Commissioner. With Mrs Heath's kind permission, a copy of the funeral service pamphlet has been sent to the Police Training School and the Force Library.
